Everglades District was established in August of 2013. Our District proudly encompasses the path of the legendary “Barefoot Mailman” as our boundaries extend from Southern Blvd. south to the Palm Beach County Line, from the Atlantic Ocean, west to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Everglades Habitat and the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. As virtually all of our communities having emerged from the Everglades, we respectfully heed our responsibility to help educate our Scouts about the special place known as the “River of Grass” and help preserve it for future generations.
