Everglades District was established in August of 2013. Our District proudly encompasses the path of the legendary “Barefoot Mailman. Our boundaries extend from Southern Blvd to the south Palm Beach County Line. Also from the Atlantic Ocean, west to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Everglades Habitat and the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. As virtually all of our communities having emerged from the Everglades, we respectfully heed our responsibility to help educate our Scouts about the special place known as the “River of Grass” and help preserve it for future generations.

Leader Training Events

  • Be a Scout Pin Update The Be A Scout website  is an internet tool that allows interested parents and youth to search, by zip code, for scouting units around their home. Once on the website, a search can be made for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing and Sea Scout units, or volunteering opportunities, in their area. A map with units will be generated and displayed with icons representing each unit (commonly referred to as a Pin). In order for this to work, your Unit Pin must be updated! This is a great tool for your unit to use for membership recruiting!    Click here for an important memo on updating your pin    Click here for a detailed guidebook on how to update your pin
